music ministry
JOYFUL CHORUS is made up of adult members of the Grace congregation. They love to lift their voices in praise to the Lord. The chorus provides special music during Divine Worship. Piano, organ, hand bells and other musical instruments provide the accompaniment.
The chorus meets Wednesday evenings from late August through mid-May for fellowship and practice.

JOYFUL TONES is part of GLC’s Music Ministry – Joyful Chorus is beautiful voices, Joyful Sounds is beautiful instruments (including solo voices), and Joyful Tones is beautiful brass handbells. JT began in 2008 with a gift to the church of three octaves of Schulmerich handbells. It is our joy to bring to the congregation music based on hymn tunes old and new.
Over the years we have rejoiced with as many as eleven ringers, and we have been challenged with as few as six ringers; it’s made for a wide variety of experiences. This year our group consists of Virginia DeBerry, Mina Fitting, Toni Granat, Cindy Hilton, Kathy McCown, and Pastor Pase; Lindsay Hale and Amy Turner help us out on occasion.
We are always eager to visit with anyone (any age, male or female) who is interested in joining our group; the ability to read music is NOT a requirement (but it IS useful). Rehearsals are on Monday evening 6:00-7:00. For more information, please don’t hesitate to contact Pat Lufholm through the church office.
