Islam is the major world religion to rise since the birth of Christianity. It is the only major world religion to claim to reform Christianity. And it is the only major world religion to use many of Christian scriptures, symbols, thoughts, and sentiments but interpret them with a different conclusion. This seminars will examine these challenges.

The second challenging questions are: is ISIS, al-Qaeda, Boko Haram and other terrorist Islamic group following Islam or not? Why should we in the West, and here in Texas, be interested in Islam? What challenges presents to us as Disciples of Christ?

What do Muslim believe? How do they see life? What moves their emotion? Where do we start when it come to the Good News of the Gospel? What is happening in the world of Islam? The Seminar will encourage and equip you to meet Muslims as friends and people who God loved and wants to include in his family.
